Pre-marshalling at container terminals refers to re-organizing
container stacks so that they are ready to be retrieved without further
relocations. We study some specific operational issues at container
terminals where we start with the pre-marshalling problem and
extend towards simulation studies regarding the settings of yard
blocks within the terminals.
